Welcome back to the final day of my 5-day LinkedIn email course! Over the past few days, you’ve learned how to optimize your profile, build an offer, set up an email funnel, and create content that truly converts. Today, we’re going to focus on scaling your LinkedIn strategy using analytics and data-driven insights.

Here’s what we’ll cover today:

  • Analyzing Your Content Performance

  • Understanding Key Metrics

  • Optimizing for Better Results

  • Scaling Your Efforts

Alright, Let’s Dive In:

In this email, I’ll walk you through the basic strategies I use to scale my LinkedIn presence for long-term growth. While I’m still working on a more comprehensive guide, these tips will help you start seeing significant improvements right away.

When you post content, keep in mind that 99% of your audience won’t see it.

This isn’t because your content isn’t valuable; it’s simply due to the fact that most of your audience isn’t active 24/7, and many don’t have notifications enabled.

That’s where repurposing your content becomes essential. There are several ways to approach this, but it’s important to do it effectively.

Many creators suggest reposting your “highest-performing content,” but what does that really mean? And does it actually work?

Here’s how to repurpose your content the right way:

Step 1 | Repurposing Your Best Content:

The simplest way for someone to show support on LinkedIn is by liking a post. If someone genuinely finds value in your content, they’ll give it a like.

Here’s my 6-step process to identify your best-performing content (I’m using LinkedIn’s analytics as an example):

  1. Go to the “My Stats” or “Analytics” section on LinkedIn.

  2. Export your data as a CSV file.

  3. Sort your posts by the number of likes, comments, and shares.

  4. Identify the content that generated the most engagement.

  5. Analyze the themes, formats, and topics that performed well.

  6. Repurpose this content by updating the message, adding new insights, or presenting it in a different format.

Import your CSV file into Google Sheets or Excel. Remove all columns except for “Views,” “Likes,” “Text,” and “Post URL.”

Next, add a new column and create a formula to divide “Impressions (Views)” by “Likes.” Autofill the formula down the rest of the document and filter from “Z → A.” This will display your top-performing content at the top.

From top to bottom, these are the posts that garnered the highest engagement relative to their impressions. These are the posts that resonated with your audience enough for them to take action—whether liking, commenting, or sharing—rather than just scrolling by.

Repurpose the content your audience liked most, not just the posts with the highest numbers.

Step 2 | Experiment + Scale:

Now that you’re repurposing your best content, you should start to see more engagement and reach on LinkedIn.

As you continue posting content with purpose, remember to keep experimenting with different types of content.

If something works well, keep pushing it, but don’t get too comfortable—always look for new ways to improve.

If something isn’t working, make adjustments. Analyze what didn’t resonate and tweak your approach.

The key is to always be doing something. Never stay stagnant.
